The Village Training Academy is a joint initiative of multiple training providers, accrediteed by SETAs in line with the National Qualifications Framework - NQF.

The primary objective is job creation through provision of skills in rural villages and townships. The Village Training Academy concept is bringing skills to people where they reside, eliminating cost of travel to cities, cost of accommodation and boosting local economic development.

Courses offered are accrediteed and compliant with the South African Qualifications Authority standards, whether skills programmes or full scale learnerships or certificate courses.

Rural communities in particular are comprised of the poorest of household, with many young people growing up in families that can hardly put food on the table, let alone tertiary education fees. The Village Training Academy mission is to tackle this scurge village by village.
